PhD position, research project “Bibliotheca Arabica”: Libraries between the Mamluk and Ottoman Era

The long-term research project “Bibliotheca Arabica – Towards a New History of Arabic Literature” based at the Saxon Academy of Sciences and Humanities in Leipzig (Germany) invites applications for a part-time PhD position working within the micro-historical sub-project “Libraries between the Mamluk and Ottoman Era”
The application deadline is 18 May 2019.
Start date is January 2020; the contract period is 3 years, with an option of extension for another year.
